America Online will buy Bebo social network

In one month time AOL will buy Bebo social network. Rumors say AOL is willing to pay 850 million $ to aquire Bebo, which is the most known social network in Great Britain and New Zeeland. Also Bebo, is the third social network in United States after MySpace and Facebook.

AOL Statistics sais that Bebo has more than 40 million members. Buying social networks is a very good business for many corporations. For example News Corp. bought in 2005, MySpace social network for 580 million dollars. Today MySpace is evaluated at more than 15 billion dollars. Same thing with Facebook. Last year Microsoft bought some actions at Facebook for 250 million dollars. Like MySpace, Facebook is evaluated at more than 14 billion dollars.
