Japan is still recovering from the earthquake in relation to suffering, but it’s not going to stop Sony and eight partners in advancing its own reconstruction effort that could reshape the way of the future cities and communities are built. Part demonstration initiative and partial recovery project are Panasonic and friends turning the footprint of one of the company’s former factory site in a 47-acre, 1,000-home”Smart City”with energy and eco-conscious development considerations.

But stripped of the idea here isn’t a city to the minimum energy consumption. Rather, the construction”Fujisawa Sustainable Smart Town”- Fujisawa City in Kanagawa Prefecture is the largest conurbation is here - with the next generation of electricity and energy-efficient infrastructure from the ground up, to show companies how green can plan to be a city when different technologies work together and about each other in harmony.

As such, I Fujisawa SST’t be seen, but must be home, never before, the most modern technology to a number of common green tech staples that despite the availability, are expensive to retrofit older buildings and in cities.

For example, every roof with modern solar cell technology that runs the house and knock home untapped energy in an accumulator-based built. The transport infrastructure will be designed with electric cars. Networked sensors to see around the city things such as public lighting, ensuring wattage go player’t by a local smart grid waste.

Basically designed Fujisawa SST as bottom-up approach to improving energy efficiency - a green village built from the ground up with modern environmental technology instead of less efficient older tech. Panasonic wants to use it as a template for other major institutions in Japan and elsewhere. If all goes as planned, Fujisawa SST begin receiving end of March 2014 and residents filled their house in 2018.

The previous deadline had been Jan. 31, according to BBC News.

Though XP was supposed to disappear by January 2008, the unpopularity of Vista has kept Redmond extending the life of its predecessor. Many PC makers had been thwarting Microsoft’s deadlines by offering XP “downgrades” from Vista, anyway.

AOL Statistics sais that Bebo has more than 40 million members. Buying social networks is a very good business for many corporations. For example News Corp. bought in 2005, MySpace social network for 580 million dollars. Today MySpace is evaluated at more than 15 billion dollars. Same thing with Facebook. Last year Microsoft bought some actions at Facebook for 250 million dollars. Like MySpace, Facebook is evaluated at more than 14 billion dollars.

After a first round which lasted 14 years, it seems that we have a second one.
The first case trial between Microsoft and EU lasted 14 years ( 1993 – november 22, 2007). In the first round, the Microsoft company was accused of unfair competition and abuse of dominant position, promoting Windows Media Player in the operating system Windows.

The European Court acknowledged EU’s right and Microsoft paid in 2004 record fines – 497 millions euro and in 2006 – 280 millions euro. The case was solved by eliminating the Windows Media Player from the operating system. Thus, it appeared the “Windows Xp N” operating system.
After 2 months from the final ending of the conflict, Opera brought Microsoft to court for the same reasons, especially for promoting Internet Exporer in the operating system. In my opinion, Opera is too late because Microsoft brought Internet Explorer in Windows 10 years before.Though, allowing for the precedent solution, we can expect for another record fines.
Do not worry! We may assist on the third round. The biggest producer of software of the world has already announced that it will bring in an antivirus program in the next edition of the Windows operating system, Seven.
In my opinion, Microsoft did not learn its lesson or it has money to pay the fines. We will see if another big producer of antivirus brings Microsoft again to court.

Monday, February 18 2008, a day that could mark the end of the “war” to impose the next standard after the already classical DVD. Toshiba with his format HD-DVD are near to capitulate in the fight with Blu-Ray technology promoted by Sony. At the end, Toshiba has paid the price of a weak marketing and to a space of smaller sensitive storage of the HD-DVD, despite of the price of a Blu-Ray Disc, which is more expensive than a DVD High Definition.

For everyone, the end of this war of the formats is a good thing, inclusively for the market. Probably, several less experienced persons wonder why the monopolization of the market is a good thing. The response is simple. Because there aren’t unities which can read the disks Blu-Ray and HD-DVD. These are made with different technologies. Imagine a case that you have a console XBOX and the game that you want to buy is available only for Blu-Ray. Imagine the same thing also for the movies. So, the big battle has been given here, and, finally, Blu-Ray won it.

In this manner, Sony takes the revenge after more than thirty years since the “war of the video cassettes” Betamax and VHS.Everyone knows that, the video cassettes VHS prevailed at that time, while the variant Betamax realized by Sony has remained a simple memory. It seems that Sony received once the lesson of humiliation, a lesson learned, for not receive it again.
